Founded in 2015, the Alanya Health Tourism Association began its activities with a visionary approach that foresaw the current state of health tourism years in advance. Our association is based on the principle that health tourism is not merely a treatment service, but a multidisciplinary structure encompassing many different areas such as healthcare, transportation, accommodation, law, guiding, digital services, and public diplomacy.
Even before legal regulations and directives regarding health tourism were enacted in our country, he argued that this field should be considered a strategic area of service export and carried out studies in this direction.
The main objective of our association is to ensure that the developing healthcare infrastructure throughout Turkey, especially in Alanya and Antalya, takes its rightful place in the global market; and to encourage sustainable, planned, and high-quality growth in the field of health tourism. In line with this objective, a transparent and inclusive working model has been adopted, strengthening public-private sector cooperation and bringing together all stakeholders.
Today, as the Alanya Health Tourism Association, our fundamental priorities include making Turkey's potential in healthcare exports visible internationally, transforming Türkiye into an attractive center for healthcare, acting with an ethical approach based on patient satisfaction, and supporting the collaborative development of all institutions in the field of health tourism.
Our association, which closely monitors all developments in the sector and acts with a solution-oriented approach, continues to play an active role in national and international platforms and to support policies and practices that will pave the way for the sector.
Our vision is to be an organization that fosters collaboration with civil society organizations in our country to achieve the same goals in health tourism, leading the way in sustainable health tourism mobility from around the world to our country. We aim to be an organization committed to ethical principles, progressing alongside academic studies, constantly striving for self-improvement, and pioneering the goal of elevating our country to the highest levels in the field of health tourism globally.
Our goals include conducting academic studies in the field of health tourism to scientifically present the health tourism infrastructure in our country; contributing to the promotion of Türkiye's human, technical, and social infrastructure in the field of health tourism; ensuring the most effective and economical promotion of our country's health tourism infrastructure on national and international arenas; enabling our country to receive a much larger share of national and international health tourism revenues; and contributing to the training of skilled personnel in the field of health tourism in our country.
Adhering to ethical principles, promoting all facilities related to health tourism in our country equally, regardless of whether they are public or private healthcare, collaborating with all institutions and organizations that can contribute to this process, and sharing all work done with the relevant parties.
